West Texas Section Chair: Karen Reams Karen received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Texas Tech University in 2003. She is completing her sixth year with Tom's Tree Place in Lubbock, where she is involved in designing plazas, residences, hotels and churches. Karen has been a member of the ASLA for seven years, and has been an officer for the last two. She has served on the planning committee for the annual West Texas Section CEPH Day for four years and hopes to plan this event for many years to come. In her free time, Karen enjoys traveling, Pilates, dancing and photography. |

West Texas Section Chair-Elect: Brent Clifford Brent is a Native Lubbock, Texan and was graduated from Texas Tech in 2002. He moved to Dallas after school for 6 years. Brent recently moved back to Lubbock to work for Parkhill, Smith,& Cooper, Inc.

West Texas Section Treasurer: Toby Rowin While growing up around a design build firm, Toby Rowin learned a lot about landscape architecture. So much in fact, that he decided to pursue it as a career and graduated from Texas Tech University with his BLA in 2001. Since then Toby has worked at his family’s own Tom’s Tree Place. He earned his license in 2005 and is proud to call himself a Landscape Architect. Toby enjoys designing apartment complexes, residences and elementary schools. He also loves spending time with is wife and two small sons. |
