Austin Section Chair: B.J. Jones BJ is a graduate of the Landscape Architecture program from the University of Kentucky. He is currently employed by Land Design Partners in Austin, Tx. His professional interest include large scale commercial and retail expansion along with high density “New Urbanism” development with an emphasis on the pedestrian social environment. BJ currently serves on the golf tourney/ silent auction committee for the State ASLA conference and is regularly active in The Hill Country Conservancy and Habitat for Humanity. |

Austin Section Chair-Elect: Brent Luck Brent is owner and lead designer for the Austin-based planning and landscape architecture firm LUCK Design Team. He is a registered landscape architect in the State of Texas and a LEED Accredited Professional with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University. He is active in the Texas Recreation and Park Society and a board member of the Trust for Public Land Central Texas Advisory Committee. Recognizing that outdoor experience and sense of place are as important as roads and utility infrastructure to the vitality of a community, Brent seeks to team with cities and counties to plan, design, and develop environments that benefit the physical and mental well being of their users their overall quality of life. |

Austin Section Secretary: Mallary Morvant
mmorvant@landdesignpartners.com Mallary received a BLA from LSU in May of 2006. After graduating she took an intern position at PLA, a landscape architecture firm in Bangkok, Thailand, that specializes in designing high-end resorts throughout Asia. After the completion of the internship she returned to the United States, taking a position at Land Design Partners in Austin, TX where she continues to learn about landscape architecture every day. |
