Student Design Competition
This student design competition is dedicated to the teachings and life of Jean Kavanagh, FASLA. Professor Kavanagh's greatest joy in life was working with young people. Every one of her students was her favorite, and teaching was the greatest gift she gave them.
The competition was formatted after the national student ASLA competition. The Students were able to enter any project they had done in school or on their own after the 2nd year of design studios. The Texas chapter is excited about the quality of the winning projects, and hopes this effort will prepare the Texas student for larger competitions.
